How do I play a game if I can't see the maze?
Haptic Maze is designed to be played using your senses of touch and hearing instead of sight. The screen remains mostly dark. As you move the marble, you must rely on the vibration feedback (haptics) when you hit a wall and the 3D audio cues to build a mental map of the path and find the exit.
How do I control the marble?
The game offers various control schemes to suit your playstyle, such as tilting your device to let gravity move the marble, or using your finger on the screen to roll the marble in classic trackball-style swiping or simply having the marble follow your finger.
The vibration feels different sometimes. Why?
The game uses Core Haptics to simulate realistic physics. A gentle brush against a wall will feel different than a high-speed collision. The haptic feedback tries to convey the texture and impact force of the environment.
I don't feel any vibrations when I hit a wall.
Go to your iPhone Settings → Sounds & Haptics → and ensure "System Haptics" is turned ON. This game relies on Apple's Core Haptics technology, which requires an iPhone 8 or newer. Older devices and iPads may not support the complex vibrations required for gameplay.
Are the mazes the same every time?
No. The game utilizes procedural generation to create new mazes, ensuring a unique challenge every time you play.
